A group of Filipino womyn whose goal is to realize gender equality through gender equality advocacy in the Philippines. They are proud members of Task Force Pride Manila, the Lesbian and Gay Legislative Advocacy Network (LAGABLAB), and the AP-Rainbow network.

Provides information relevant to lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer womyn in Asia.
Lesbian Advocates Philippines (LeAP!)

A lesbian NGO, formed by lesbian activists and advocates who have been involved in lesbian rights advocacy work since the early 1990s. LeAP! intends to bring lesbian rights advocacy and visibility work in the local, national and international arena.
Lesbian and Gay Legislative Advocacy Network (LAGABLAB)
LAGABLAB is the largest network of LGBT groups in the Philippines and has actively campaigned against discrimination, along with Amnesty International Pilipinas, an international human rights NGO.
Pro-Gay (Progressive Organization of Gays in the Philippines )

Gay rights and service organization providing public education, counselling, publicity for gay events, human rights advocacies, sports activities and health advise since 1993. Progay led the first Gay March in Asia on June 26, 1994. Sponsors the Pink Film Festival and other pride events.
Task Force Pride
A network of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender organizations and LGBT-friendly groups committed to promoting respect for the diverse expressions of responsible sexuality, and the recognition of the right of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders to a dignified life without discrimination and prejudice. They organize the annual Philippine Pride festival.
UP Sappho
The UP Sappho Society is the first and only university-based lesbian organization in the Philippines. Created in the summer of 1999,its aim is to provide an exclusive lesbian space within the university where lesbian students can interact and work for common goals
Womyn Supporting Womyn Centre (WSWC)

WSWC is an organization that promotes and enhances lesbian empowerment on a national scale via dynamic efforts for lesbian rights advocacy and education; forging solidarities to battle patriarchy, homophobia and discrimination; establishing and enriching resources, support, ideological foundation and action. WSWC has taken on a coordinative role for the national lesbian network formed during the First National Lesbian Rights Conference in 1996. WSWC is a member of LAGABLAB (Lesbian and Gay Legislative Advocacy Network); part of Task Force Pride, which organizes celebration of Pride Month and the Pride March on June of every year; a member of the Asian Lesbian Network, which holds gatherings every two years to formulate and strengthen a lesbian agenda that is rooted in our asian culture and context; and a part of the Asia-Pacific Rainbow, a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender group. This group maintains an electronic news group which WSWC co-moderates, to help define common issues, concerns and agenda that can be translated into united action.
Organizations Ishmael Bernal Community Center
127 Macario Asistio Ave, Caloocan City, 359-0468. A unique arts-training shelter for out-of-school and unemployed gays and lesbians in urban slum areas. By providing opportunities for art-oriented gay youth to discover their talents in theatre and painting, the Ishmael Bernal Community Center will contribute some alternative channels for gays other than loitering in the streets and being exposed to negative social influences such as substance abuse.
The Pink Film Festival
Mowelfund Film Institute, 66 Rosario Drive, Cubao, Quezon City, 721-1915, 721-1961, email. Organizers of the annual gay and lesbian film festival. The Pink Film Festival held one of the Philippines' first public screenings of lesbian and gay-themed movies in 1998.
Society of Transsexual Women of the Philippines (STRAP)
A Manila-based support, contact, and information group focused on the needs, issues, and concerns of transsexual women in the Philippines. They seek to improve the public understanding of transsexualism and to encourage a helpful and supportive community amongst Filipina transsexual women.
UP Babaylan
The University of the Philippines Babaylan LGBT student organization, established in 1991. UP Babaylan continues to push for gender rights and equality inside and out of the academic setting.
